With the re-opening of most businesses in Texas on May 18, 2020, we wanted to update you on our processes to keep everyone as safe as possible when resuming your workouts at Get FHIIT. Your health has always been our top concern and we will follow recommended protocols and guidelines for COVID-19 protection and safety, including, however, not limited to the following:
- Our business model has always been private and small groups which are well below our 25% capacity. The Richardson location is licensed for 49 occupants, however, even our largest groups (pre-COVID-19) were limited to eight. Until further notice, we are further reducing groups to no more than six clients per session (less than 20% of occupancy). This will easily allow greater than six feet social distancing while training. The El Paso location is currently limiting groups to four clients per session.
- Cardio equipment in the front room has been staggered and are more than six feet apart.
- Workouts will be designed to keep all clients separated by more than six feet.
- Trainers will maintain at least six feet of separation from clients where possible. When spotting or needing to be within six feet, the trainer will wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth.
- In addition to our already stringent cleaning practices, including deep cleaning at the end of each day, any items that come into contact with clients will be disinfected with medical-grade disinfectant immediately after use. Additionally, we will frequently clean and disinfect any regularly touched surfaces, such as doorknobs and restrooms.
- Hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, soap and water are readily available for use in the studio.
- Self-screen before coming to the studio. If you do not feel well – stay home!
- Wash or disinfect your hands immediately upon entering and before leaving.
- Please bring your own water. If necessary, the water dispenser is available for refills, however, you must use a disposable cup (do not place your water bottle on the dispenser). Please notify your trainer if you need a refill so they can immediately disinfect the dispenser after contact.
- Please bring minimal items into the studio (keys, phone, etc). The cloth storage bins have been removed. Please use a locker or open storage space for your items. These areas will be disinfected after each use.
- Maintain social distance with other clients. Please place your water in an area of the studio where you can get a drink without having to congregate near others.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth. We recommend a headband or other covering to keep hair pulled back to further reduce risk of touching your face.
- Face masks that cover the nose and mouth, as well as gloves that fully cover from wrist to fingers are recommended, however, not required. If you would like a face mask and do not have one, please request a disposable mask from your trainer.
